Recommends it for: ya fantasy fans, people who like shapeshifters
I like shapeshifters. I think that's because they allows authors to explore different aspects of humanity that don't work when people are, well, human.

The Last Dove is set in a world where everyone is a shapeshifter, and it's not a paranormal romance. This was enough to make me like it without even reading it.

But I did read it. And while it wasn't exactly amazingly plotted and the characters were a bit flat, I still liked it. I barely put it down from the time I picked it up, and I'm still sitt
