I found this information book to be very interesting. It included diary entries, maps of their journey, animals facts, as well as stunning pictures of the land. This book would be awesome to use for a social studies lesson about Lewis and Clark. You could talk about their discoveries, the politics that went along with getting the Louisiana Purchase, as well as a geography lesson of the states.
