Step-by-step instructions show how to perform useful phrases using American Sign Language. It has the alphabet as well as simple hand movement to say "Hello".

Lesson: CLL3 the child will use nonverbal communication for a variety of purpose.

teach simple phrases to the children and let them perform it, have the other children guess what the child is trying to say.

My daughter and I are just beginning to learn American Sign Language independently as an elective class with our homeschooling. Since my daughter’s brain is much younger then my own, she is picking up sign language much quicker, and I often feel she is teaching me. :)

This is one of the first few books we have checked out on A.S.L. and found if very helpful. The photographs are clear and easy to understand. The Kids’ Guide to Sign Language also has several common sentences or phrases that studen
