Suppose you could ask God any question and get an answer. What would it be? Young people all over the world have been asking those questions. So Neale Donald Walsch, author of the internationally bestselling Conversations with God series had another conversation. "Conversations with God for Teens" is a simple, clear, straight-to-the-point dialogue that answers teens questi ...more

Recommends it for: No one EVER!!!
Shelves: pure-fiction
This is a horrible book for teens or for anyone for that matter. Just the thought that this man has the audacity to presume what God would say is appalling to me, but to then twist the words of the Bible to turn answers into something that people just want to hear to make them feel better about the sin that they are committing. One girl asks, "Why am I a lesbian?", his answer is that she was 'born that way' because of genetics (just as you were born right-handed, with brown eyes, etc.). Then he ...more

Aside from its controvesial part, I think it's also a book that would be good for any teen looking for spiritual answers.

Our teens face an onslaught of anti-God rhetoric from our culture every day of their lives. This rhetoric comes at them from television, movies, books, magazines, and even from the schools they attend. Many Christian teens feel overwhelmed when faced with the questions non-believers ask them. This book answers many of those questions in a way that will appeal to the mind of a

I was very disappointed in this book. It is not about conversations with God. It was about an author pretending to answer for God.

Nothing had made more sense to me concerning the Bible than this book. It is truly inspirational and inspiring.

I have read the first 3 books in this series and am now reading the 4th. I have to say, the book for teens is by far the best. It is so simple and straight forward, and the teens in the book who asked the questions are so honest and direct, and ask questions we all want to know with no pretenses. I would recommend starting with this book for anyone interested in this series. It covered most of the topics in the first four books anyway, in one concise easy to understand book.

I have read Walsch's "Conversations with God" series for adults, and although I am not a teen, I was intrigued to enter the First Reads contest for this title to see how he would relate life concepts to teens. I have to admit that I actually really enjoyed this title, at times more than the adult series. It was very simple, straightforward, and practical. The author doesn't explicitly share what he believes as what is "right" versus what is "wrong", but instead provides insight into how teens ca ...more

It says "for teens", but I really think it needs to say "for older teens". Some of the things discussed in this book were way over my head when I was a teen, though I was a tad sheltered... I am now 24 and some of the topics still make me uncomfortable.

un libro strano...
tre stelline perchè mi trovo daccordo su alcune cose..

This book has been life changing. I have read it many times, and it is, simply put, amazing. I recomend it to everyone. It has taught me many lessons and changed the way I look at the world. I would like to thank this book for falling into my hands and changing me.

I have heard negative things about this book and I want to read it for that reason. In working with teens, I want to know what is being offered to them and what to reccommend or not and why.

Interesting concept towards spiritualism. I like the fact where the author accepts questions and answers them in an apt manner. My first ever book that i read.

This is a fantastic book for teens. Real questions and answers that are relevant to being a teen in this world.

It really helps out through those depressing times and questions that run through a teens mind.
