This is a very worthwhile read for all educators! Garmston's focus is on improving student learning by positively developing/enhancing group culture, refining facilitators skills, and equipping groups to resolve complex issues around student learning. This book provides great insights and explicit processes about how groups work. It is well written, uses clear language/concepts and is a very easy read. A bit dry to read. Wish it had some more real life examples for interest and understanding. The specific examples that were given where helpful and interesting. I think that this is a book that if I was facilitating a group, I'd go back to.
