I've been in the mood to kick it old skool lately, and this seemed perfect. It started out nicely wacky, with Selena idiotically pretending to be a prostitute and then having to do a runner when Chance insists on taking her up on it, accidentally taking the $500 "fee" with her. (An aside -- it's very weird for me to encounter a contemporary romance hero who patronizes prostitutes. Especially after she's apparently just finishing up a "job." Ick. I love thse Harlequin romance novels. They are a quick easy read and usually all ends happily; which, this one does. It is a nice break from the real world. They all are the basic novel handsome rich man mets girl usually not of money, they spark back and forth and end falling in love.
