My 5-year old loves stories where someone is sad, lonely, abandoned, etc and who meets a friend who takes them in. This story is exactly that. A cat is sad and lonely, a crow tries to trick him, the cat ends up meeting a crocodile friend, and they live together after that. She really liked this.
Sweet, colorful, multi-media illustrations. Logan liked the story, which focuses on meeting each other's needs.
