If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would. "Royally BeSwitched" was the best, most satisfying book of the series, and I was very happy to have read it.
Snow progresses her characters well throughout both the series and this third book--you really feel them growing, and that's something that speaks to me. We all have problems to overcome, and Surla and the gang do too. Watching them go through their troubles appealed to me.

I think these are the perfect books for younger teen girls. This is a YA series, but I think it is younger YA or maybe even a good crossover series from tweens that are moving on from MG. These books are just pure magical fun! Royally BeSwitched picked up right where book 2 left off, with Jax and Surla being sent into the past. And the hijinks ensure from there.

In Book 3, Royally BeSwitched, Jax finds himself, along with Surla in her cat form, in 1700's France after being sent there at the end of Book 2, "BeSwitched Witch." After getting somewhat acclimated to the surroundings, Jax realizes that his ancestors are in trouble. Two of his ancestors aren't developing feelings for one another as they should be. If he can't get Prince Nicholas to marry one of the maids, Noella, then the Morreau family line will be forever changed. Jax and Surla must figure o...more

My Thoughts: I certainly wasn't expecting some of the things that happened in this one, so I was in for an interesting surprise. Snow has once again combined humor, wit and romance so effortlessly that as a reader, it's hard not to love the characters and the story which she has created. We meet up with Surla and Jax after they have been banished by his father back in time to the year 1730 and they find themselves with the task of getting Prince Nicholas to fall in love with the maid, Noella. Th...more
Molly Snow's third installment in the BeSwitched series picks up right where BeSwitched Witch left off--with Surla and Jax transported to France in the 1730. Surla is back in her cat form, but she still has feelings for Jax that must be resolved. In addition to her own romantic troubles, Surla must step in to help insure that Jax's family line continues as it should. Prince Nicholas Morreau and a maid named Noella are not falling in love like they are supposed to so our feline heroine must becom...more
