There are only a couple of points that let this book down: it's beginning to be a little bit dated as most of its focus is on 1980s and 1990s media, which prevents a truly contemporary perspective, but is simply an indicator of the book's age and not a result of incompetence; plus the author leans heavily on other people's work, which is fine for this sort of text, although I would have preferred more creativity applied to the themes discussed.
