This book consists of daily devotionals for families. It’s designed so that each chapter in the book is related to one of the songs on Ka*Pop’s recording “It’s Time to Fly” and there are seven devotionals - a week’s worth - related to each song. I’ve never heard of Ka*Pop, never heard any of their songs, and I really thought the devotionals really need the music to be appealing. I really enjoyed reading these short devotionals designed for use by a family. The book was written as a companion to the Ka*Pop CD "It's Time to Fly" but it could easily stand alone as a great resource for families with young school-age children. The book includes some short prayers and discussion questions to make the devotional time interesting and reflective.
I really like this book.As soon as I received it in the mail my 10 year old was interested right away just becauseof the picture on the front. The inside of the book is very kid friendly and setup in such a way to keeps them interested.
Each day there is a short story, a prayer, questions about the short story to start a discussion and a passage from the bible. The stories are fun and simple and the messages very clear.
This is a great book I will be looking at it often with my son.
