Never Say Just is a book that has to grow on you. I struggled to get through the first part of the book. The storyline began with a brother returning home from the marines with several of his marine friends to spend the summer with his sister. Shortly after the brother enters the storyline he sort of disappears and fades into the background.

This book came to me as a request for a read/review. I went through three books the other night looking for one that "worked." As many know, I don't do a review if I can't at least give it a three and if I can't finish one I don't ever mention the title. Then I opened this one. First, I must confess that I love military men in stories. Flawed yet heroic this cast of characters didn't let me down nor did Ms. Harper's caustic yet humorous writing style. Can't freaking wait!
This book was fast-paced and immediately gets you hooked on the characters and rooting for the leading lady. Great action with a side of romance - which is exactly up my alley!!! It was a very fun read - well done Katie!!!!
I was cheering for Kat the whole way through this fun and humorous action adventure! It was a quick read and left me wanting to hear more from the leading lady and this band of military men. Harper's writing style was unique, yet easy for me to relate.
