Disclaimer: I received this book from a Goodreads giveaway. However, all my opinions are honest and in no way influenced by the author or publisher.

The reason why I enjoy Goodreads Giveaways is that it makes you interested to read certain books which you might not have picked up from the sales counter. And surprisingly, even though some of them can be a tad bit disappointing, a few others can be quite enjoyable. Dancing in a Hurricane was one such book -- a page turner, perfect for a light read...more
Excellent book! Book kept me hooked from page 1. Loved meeting all of Sixto's family and how they were part of the entire book. I really liked how the relationship of Bree and Sixto developed. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

I've enjoyed Laura Breck books before, but upon reading this one I realized I'd forgotten exactly how good a writer she is. This was a great contemporary romance with small town Bree inheriting her twin's Miami house (or half of it), secret business (or half of it), and housemate. Yes, the other half is owned by part-time model Sixto (of Cuban descent) and the man is seriously hot! The story flies by with good emotional give and take, trust issues that need to be overcome, a subplot with another...more
This was the first book that I have read by this author and I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed this book!! This book really lets you get to know each of the characters and you love them all. I loved Bree and Sixto's story and couldn't help but root for them and hope that they end up together. I love Sixto's family and how they took Bree into their family. I could not read this book fast enough because I wanted to find out how the book ends and how Sixto reveals his secret to Bree and how s...more

Loved it!

I hated the ending of this. Sooooo much melodrama. Then, though I could have accepted it.......maybe....there was a bigger deal about driving from Miami to Sanibel Island ("I can't believe you made me drive all the way across the state") than when the heroine drove from Miami to Tallahassee. To Sanibel...maybe 2.5 or 3 hours. To Tallahassee, 7+ hours, yet not only did she do a round trip to Tallahassee the as,e day as she met with a lawyer AND got her PTlicemse, she wasn't fazed by it at all. Go...more
Je viens de fermer ce livre. Je ne connaissais pas cet auteur, j'ai passé un bon moment en compagnie de Bree et Sixto. J'ai bien aimé cette romance et j'attends le tome 2 avec impatience.
Ok, Just picked this book at random. I thought it sounded interesting, but really what I imagined
the story to be about.
