This book was a funny read and took me back to my young days of reading books like this. I actually miss reading these books. This Junie B. Jones book is about how Room One is in a Kickball Tournament with the other first grader classrooms. Junie B. is so determined to play kickball with her class and to be the best that when she was praticing at home, she kicked a water can...that was actually full of water. When she did this, she hurt her toe. Then she went to school the next day and her mom a

Junie B. is a great one-man-band probably! Even if her toe is wrong. And sometimes you might want to do something you think looks easy. Then you find out, you can't do it, on account of it's harder than it looks. And And if the whole class thinks you learned how to do and is excited, then you can't go to school that day. On account of you told your mother you broke your leg and limped around.
Junie B. books are the funniest books ever! I love them

Sooo... Junie B. Jones has greatly improved grammar now that she's in first grade. I liked that. I liked this book. I thought it was funny because Junie B. really does think like a first grader. No wonder children like these books! I'd keep them around in my library.

Junie B. is such a character. She's a young Ramona. This book is #22 in the series. After some serious kickback practice with a watering can, Junie's toe is injured. This means she can't play in the tournament. Sheldon asks if she'll be in the halftime show with his one man band. He chickens out and she's left entertain on her own. Great for early readers.

This Junie B. book could be used when talking about students behavior. As a teacher they could compare and contrast behaviors between Junie B. and the students in the classroom. They can talk about the behaviors that are appropriate and the ones that are not appropriate.

I started reading the Junie B books aloud to Ella this summer, and we've both really enjoyed them. They are hilarious! I love reading about all of Junie B's escapades. It's been the perfect introduction to chapter books for Ella.

I read this with my little guy(he and I took turns reading pages). He really enjoyed this book a lot! It's a really cute, quick read for kiddos. I'd recommend it to anyone with little ones because they'll really enjoy it.

Great story about perseverance! Children can do anything, if they put their mind to it! Junie wants to be able to keep her classmates entertained, and will do anything to learn how to juggle. These books always keep me interested!

Another Junie B. adventure! I love her spunk - although I am sure she wears her teacher and her parents out! She always makes my children and me laugh! I loved her dignity on the field when everyone was laughing at her and she bravely began singing, and then juggling. Such poise for a 6 year old!!!

This is the first Junie B. book I've read, and I can see why this series is popular -- it's pretty funny, and is a lot shorter and easier to read than, say, a Beverly Cleary Ramona book.

We've come a long way with Junie B. and we are still enjoying the books in this series. I like that our oldest is about the same age as she is in the stories as we read them, so she can really relate to her. They are funny and remind me as a mom that children don't think exactly as we do.

Barbara Park is really talented at creating stories for young readers, and this mom has to admit she was highly entertained as well.

This book isn't as funny as the others, but is still enjoyable enough as a read-aloud. There just weren't as many Junie-isms as usual....

June B. Jones cracks me up! I'm sure I wasn't that sarcastic at that age. I think.
