I couldn't wait to read this as the author is a friend fo mine! It was very interesting to see what it is like to be a tv reporter and what is involved with getting a news report on tv, sometimes going live. The story was intriguing and kept me glued to the pages. Since I used to live in the Ft. Lauderdale area ( where the story takes place) I found it fun to revisit the area through the characters. I am looking forward to Mel's next book.

About 30 pages into it. it still hadn't really pulled me in and I gave up on it to read another book that seemed to appeal to me more. Too bad too cus I thought with the CSI Miami feel of it I would really like it.

A fairly run of the mill mystery. Characters were a little wooden but unobjectionable. Not too bad, not outstanding.
