I am enjoying this series and leaning about the Hollywood scene. It’s no wonder these books are so good - Jen Calonita has the inside scoop on all things Hollywood. I love how the story fits in perfectly with the Hollywood secrets that are shared.
Kaitlin has a major role in a movie and On Location takes full advantage of that for the setting. Making a movie sounds cRaZy and stressful. There was no shortage of drama for Kaitlin and her friends.

I love Hollywood and I love books that show drama! This book is so perfect! Literally, tis book got me so annoyed at Skye sometimes that I would put the book down and do something else to calm me down! And that usually never happens to me!

Agh, I am totally getting sucked into these easy to read YA books about a teenage actress and her Hollywood and every day life. The main characters in these books are so likeable and they are such easy reads, I can never put them down. Doesn't hurt that I can usually read them in about a day on the weekends!

This book is one of my most favorites!! It's the sequel to Secrets of My Hollywood Life, and that is also awesome. This book has drama, romance, and all the other stuff that keeps a girl reading. It kept me turning the pages the whole time. I find it very hard to find a book I'm interested in, and this one got me hooked really fast. While Calonita's writing is as fun and breezy as ever, this installment of Secrets of My Hollywood Life was missing the oomph of the first, and by oomph I mean conflict.
Don't get me wrong, it was really entertaining and if you want some fluff, this might be a good choice. But I found that the main point of contention was turf war between publicists and how transient public opinion can be.

This book is just as good as the first. It follows Kaitlyn on location to shoot a movie. Her nemesis is even more evil and calculating than in the first book, and her relationship with her boyfriend gets even more complicated. Even though Kaitlynn lives in the world of Hollywood, most teens should easily relate to her real life struggles with family, friends and boys.
I loved this book even more than the first, and I didn't even believe that possible! Sometimes I got frustrated with Kaitlin when she didn't tell Austin about all of her problems, and I just wanted to yell at her!
I love all the great characters in the book and all the new ones. Jen Calonita really keeps it in interesting with all the crazy twists!

I think I should have started with the first book in this series (I think it was Secrets. . .: Undercover) because it took me a while to get all the characters straight. However, Kaitlin and Austin are an adorable (and appropriate) teenage couple - and Calonita knows how to end a novel. If I was still 16, I would have rushed out for the next in the series.
I really like this series..I wish it wouldn't keep repeating the same events from books before as a back story..yeah, it could be useful for new readers but it's annoying and unnecessary for the dedicated followers..I like Kaitlin and Austin is awesome as a understanding boyfriend..the situations she gets into with Sky are hilarious..the more I read this series, the more I start to think how close behind-the-scenes is to real life..
I love this book. But the plot is always the same i already know what to expect in the next 2 books of the serious. Kaitilin starts out fine and then she starts having problem because some reason Sky is always included in whatever she does. There is always people like Sky trying to ruin her career. Another cute story for the series. Nothing riveting and it was predictable, but still very fun. I understand the genre I'm reading so I'm not surprised about how the story line is progressing.
I do like that the same characters are prevalent. We liked Austin so Austin is a factor. We liked Liz so she, too, is a factor. We ADORE Nadine so she plays a huge role.

I sort of picked up this book without realizing that it's a part of a series! Since it's only the second book, I'm going to get the first one and read it and then get the third and so on. I looovvveee this book!! I love the characters and their attitudes/characteristics! A must-read for any girl!!
I read this book start-to-finish during a three hour flight and about fifteen minutes of a consequential ferry ride. I enjoyed the main character's development from the first book to the second, though the plot of this one didn't engage me as much as the first.

This series is like my version of guilty-pleasure-beach-read: more substantial than entertainment magazines and harlequin romance novels, and yet definitely a welcome break from the academia of nonfiction that has taken me over a month to power through. Fun stuff. (=

This wasn't as good as the first one but still a rather good read. I finished it in about three hours so it will go fast, but still satisfying. I suppose it doesn't deserve five stars because of two things. First was the plot. There wasn't to much content to the book.
