A sweet, heart-wrenching picture book about a dog in a shipwreck. The text is interspersed with a form-repeating rhyme: "He was a good dos, a brave dog, a trying-to-save-himself dog, a sea dog." Very moving, with a strong format that causes the reader to slow down and consider.
