Lee Bontecou is an intimate, dark and profound artist. This book is an excellent tribute, the information is well informed and the reproductions are excellent. The show was amazing. If you have never heard of her, look her up immediately, even if you end up not liking her just the experience of her work is refreshing because it is unique and extremely complicated. The work must have taken a great deal of time to make. I love her and am so happy to own this book.

Saw this exhibition at the Hammer in LA and haven't been the same since. I had never heard of Lee Bontecou, but I know I'm better for having found out who she is/was. Unhindered vision!
Seeing this exhibition changed my life.
