This narrative is full of black and white photographs of animals, most of which are young. The writing is on the generic side for gift books as Greive recounts broad experiences typically shared between mothers and their children not clearly showing what “everything” is. Love these little books...the photos are amazing, the little quotes under the photos are inspirational! This one, and Dear Dad: Father, Friend, and Hero are lovely books to read.....a wonderful series, and beautiful gifts..
This "thanks to mom" has a wonderful selection of candid black and white animal photos in it which is better than the actual purpose of the book - to thank mom for being the greatest mom ever. While the words are cute and are often related to the animal pictures, they seem a bit generic and blah.
I got this book from my Grandmother's "estate," or the box of stuff that we got from the nursing home. I'm not sure who gave it to her, but I read the book thinking of my Grandmother and being a Mom myself, and it made me smile. The pictures are cute and the captions are meaningful.
A gift from Jeff, he left it on the table for me one week after he had been watching the dogs. I love it, and he even signed the front.
Keya liked it so much, I bought one for her.

When you feel the need to look at cute animals, this hits the spot, although I did find p19 a bit bizarre, not being a dog person!
