An interesting little book that focuses on the ultimate human folly.

Filled with quotes and little facts regarding the pragmatic obliteration of humanity.

The book covers nicely with brevity the perverse attitudes of scientists, military men and political animals in regards to a nuclear exchange and how easily human death and misery could be calculated.

from another era but still relevant as those we allow to rule over us still hold dear the same mindsets and with gung ho swagger allow themselves the right to mass murder not only millions but humanity.

Atomic bombs falling off planes (in one case, landing in someone's backyard), early-warning radar systems fooled by a flock of geese or the rising moon: this is a collection of such incidents, presented with a refreshing tone of levity. The Bomb (remember when we used to capitalize it?) doesn't care whether you laugh or cower in fear, but laughter may be better for your mental health.

The cold war kept the world living in almost daily fear of Atomic War... this little book is a collection of black humor and scary facts about the nuclear age.
