A really good book, a very pleasant read, without the in-your-face, cloying sentimentality that I was worried it might contain! This has some very interesting anecdotes, very funny in places, and confronts the harsher questions about life, death, cancer and the Holocaust with great clarity and honesty. I would certainly recommend this book to anyone in the same position as the author, and to anyone interested in general pop-culture of the last 50-odd years.
