A romantic suspense involving country western singer and a woman who trains horses. Throw in a jealous ex-husband who thinks his ex-wife owes him and when she ignores his warnings, he burns her horse barn to the ground. Short, quick read.

This is my first book by RaeAnne Hadley. This was a great romance story with a little tragedy. Rebecca Gordon married a man (Kip) and knew before she walked down the isle that he was not her true love but she gave it her best. Rebecca is a dressage rider and she wanted to win the world championship and felt she could do it with a song by Luke Grayson a famous singer. On her way to the airport bound for LA, she stopped at her husband’s job and found him in the arms of another women. Devastated, s ...more

Wouldn't it be nice to feel like Pretty Woman (without the whole hooker part), if only for a few moments?

Rebecca's story starts by entering into a loveless marriage with crazy man Kip the computer nerd. Her only real passion is her stable and her horses. She's trained for years to take Othello to Championships and this is the year. Rebecca sets out to meet with Luke Grayson's managers for approval to use his music in her performance. Only to come face to face with Luke himself. *eeekkk*

Luke is a country music sweetheart. Rebecca is married Colorado woman. Add a cheating husband to the story, and you have instant divorce and instant love between Rebecca and Luke.

This is a completely smut-free book, but it fits the story. I kinda love how she doesn't fit in with the jet set in Los Angeles or New York, but when they're together in Colorado, they have a perfect time together. The heart of the story is that love and acceptance of your partner can make any relationship work, no matt

What an amazing story. I could not put this book down! Thank you ReaAnne for the sleepless night :)

The characters come alive in this tale of love and passion. Rebecca has a passion for her horses and her career. Her husband has a passion for himself. When Rebecca walks in on her husband and another woman things take a turn for her in more ways than she thought possible. She leaves her husbands office to make an appointment with a famous singer to get his contract approval for her to use his song

From the first page I was drawn into Rebecca Gordon's world. From the moment she married her husband Kip she knew he was not the one. As her marriage was crumbling around her she decided to concentrate on winning the world championships as a dressage rider. In need of a great song to accompany her show, she headed off to LA to meet singer'songwriter Luke Grayson. Never imagining she was going to change her whole life. This was a fabulous love story with a little tragedy. The authors penmanship w ...more

I found this a sweet and fully engaging story. I enjoyed all the horse riding details, even though I know nothing about horse riding. The characters were well developed and loveable. The story flowed so smoothly and kept my interest. I'll definitely be picking up another book by this author.

First book by this author and it was incredible and relatable. Anyone who goes through a betrayal like this can feel it through the pages.
