My least favorite of Martin's books. After reading a few, the formula becomes clear and it's no longer as interesting. If you've never read one and don't know which to read, stick with Back Bay. It's far and away the best.

Historical Fiction Lovers
Great book for people who like the generational, historical fiction novels. Awesome history and tour of Annapolis.....great esp if you have visited Annapolis or lived anywhere in Maryland.

I really like historical novels but I think this was poorly written. It was very confusing to follow and very predictable.

Very captivating book. I really liked how it touched on different parts of the entire history of the US Navy.
