It wasn't her fault Kate Moss's face got in the way. But the fallout has her deep in social Siberia--literally--on a dairy farm in Podunk, Massachusetts. Why? To get a job of course! I really wanted to like this book. The author is from Indiana, and I may meet her at the Romance Writers of America conference in July.

Good: Some amusing stuff, mostly involving her expensive shoes getting ruined.

-- Much reliance on superlatives and telling: "He was the only man who..."
-- Abrupt plot points. She suggests that he take some different photos for his ads (for which she's the model) and a couple pages letter he wants her to be his marketing director. (a) hardly follows (b), as
Repetitive and predictable. I just don't get the relevance of the recipes at the beginning of each chapter - a pointless distraction.
Aptly named.
Romance books with recipes. This book's recipes are cheese based. The recipes sound wonderful.

Quirky characters, this one was my favorite of the Shirley Jump books that I have read.

Too detailed sex scenes for me, but that's just me...

I found this book left behind at the airport, and needed something to read so picked it up. It's extremely predictable, not very entertaining, but the recipes seem decent. Wouldn't have wasted money on it though.

Not as good as the last one (this one was just three stars, the other one was more like 3.75).
Strong characters but generic. Wasn't much of a plot.

Was an ok read, but was a tad predictable.
Title says it all.
Enjoyable romance.
Light reading.
