Coloring with Thread: A No-Drawing Approach to Free-Motion Embroidery
by
Ann Fahl (Goodreads Author)
Sometimes crafting seems so...staid. Coloring with Thread allows crafters at every level to really express themselves by adding their own personal "drawings" to quilts and other fabric projects. All that's needed is a sewing machine with a feed-dog drop, and it's off to the art gallery Start with easy practice studies, then quickly create free-motion designs.

GREAT GO TO BOOK.... a book I found helpful when I started learning how to machine quilt. I particularly like the way Ann shows that your quilting can be dictated by the fabric you are quilting on. The quilt top dictates the way she FMQ her quilts. I would recommend this book to newbie quilters.

Good book to get you started on machine embroidery using a regular sewing machine not an embroidery one.
