I thought this book showed a lot of promise in the beginning.

Unfortunately that promise disappeared after a few pages.

Willow (main character)-
At first I thought her emotions were right on target. She seemed very real and believable in the start. However after a few pages it was evident that she was very superficial. (view spoiler)[It's like she completely forgot about her mom and brother stuck outside of the shelter (This development was predictable) (hide spoiler)]. She seemed much mo...more

Cover looks good.. :)

I definitely prefer this series to the Nightmarcher series.

I would like to thank the authors for offering me a copy of this.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is very original and unique. It is not something I generally read about which made the plot more intriguing,

Willow is your average teen trying to survive in a world where there is known to be a deadly virus. After her family is called to be tested before entering the 'Dome' where safety is promised, her Brother sebastian...more

I was given this book in return for an honest review. The basic overview is that a virus is killing everyone, over half the planet has perished. The government has built shelters, you have to pass inspection and get an imunization before entering. The government plans on heating up the earth to kill the virus and anyone outside of the shelters will most likely die. Willow and her family are on their way in, infortunately her baby brother tests positive for the virus and will have to stay outside...more

I am so hungry for more. Where is book two. I gave this book a 5 star rating. If you have not read it hurry and get it. Project ELE
This is the most wonderful book I have read in awhile. Right from the first few pages I was hooked. It had me crying right off the bat.
Page after page I was hooked.
I looked at this book as a what if book like maybe this could really happen in 2090 or 3011. And it was a scary thought. This book is a must read for everyone. I strongly back this book. You will never wa...more

This book was given to me by the author for review.

First off I'm not a fan of anything besides paranormal romance but I'm starting to really like this genre. Project ELE starts off with Willow and her family smothering in the sun waiting to be let into the shelter. She goes through lot's of challenges in the shelter and soon she will either survive the life she has to live or she won't.

I loved this book and I can't wait for more books from these lovely ladies who have written a wonderful story t...more

Where do I start? I’ll start by saying some of the reviews for this book are crazy. I’ve come to realize that a lot of people who read reviews instantly disregard five star reviews. As they for some reason believe the review comes from the author’s family and friends. So I no longer give them out, unless the book is perfect in every way shape and form. This was not perfect; there were a few things that had me shaking my head. for instance with two authors I would have thought they would have cau...more

WOW Project ELE lived up to my expectations. I like how you can actually relate to the characters and what they are going through. I can not wait till the next book comes out already counting down the days.

I am rediscovering my love for science fiction and this book was one of the stories I chose to reignite my imagination and I am not disappointed. From the beginning, I was engrossed with the imaginative story this pair of authors laid out. Good job ladies!

Even though it is fantasy, the conspiracy theory in this book is believable. Too many people believe blindly will do anything to survive, even trust in a government that may not have their best at heart. The premise that a government could sequ...more

I really enjoyed reading this novel. It was a unique and intriguing story. I will continue to read the series.

There were some serious flaws with the story which included inconsistencies and gross spelling errors. I counted 24 in all. The more serious issue is that they were not misspelled words, most were misused wording such as the use of waste instead of waist. These are things that are not caught with spell check but require human proofing. There were a few grammatical errors, typically misu...more

I didn't know this was a YA book when recommended to me by a male syfy fan! I generally like a more adult oriented genre, so I probably wouldn't have read it had I known. I'm so glad I didn't know!! I really liked this story and even immediately purchased, "Finding ELE" upon completing this one.

The authors really have a descriptive talent that brings the reader right into this underground world shelter. The story moves well and makes it real hard to find a good place to stop reading for the eve...more

Major cliff-hanger.

In order to kill the virus that's been affecting the people in the world, it has been decided to remove the patches in the atmosphere that would lead to the heating of the Earth. People had to move to shelters. But not everyone could gain access to the F.E.M.A. shelters. Willow Mosby's life changed when she walked through its doors. Having entered together with her father, with her mother and brother behind and outside the protection of the shelter, she then started her new li

I'd say it's more like 3.5 stars. I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This book started out very dry for me. I skimmed through a lot of the first few chapters. It started picking up about the 40% mark. That half of the book was amazing and very intriguing. The book ended on a HUGE cliffhanger. The romantic aspect was very sweet! The powers and how they came about were pretty original, and the climax towards the end was epic. All-in-all a decent quick read!

Project ELE is a page turner. We meet Willow who is in a shelter with her father and her younger brother and mother. I immediately fell in love with her younger brother because he just sounded so adorable. What happens next is a family’s worst nightmare. Willow, her father and mother all receive and accepted stamp on their passports but her younger brother does not, so the family decides that Willow and her father would go inside and they mother and brother would remain outside and hope for the...more

So, our main character willow, she is as clinch as possible. For half the book I couldn't like her. SHE WAS A TEENAGER AND HAD ATTITUDE, as she stated many times... Most teenagers don't have to think that as they talk since they are talking normal. At some point I grew to like her, even if she wasn't my favorite character.... Alec! There were the side characters who I found to like much more as I wasn't reading there view.

The book was walking with clinsches, ironicly I love them. The ro...more

Twenty-six pages into this book I was already crying my heart out. Thanks to the authors’ remarkable writing, I got attached to Willow and her family in a span of only a few pages. You’re probably wondering why I cried while reading the second chapter of this book, right? Well, all I can tell you is that no parent should be expected to make such a choice as the one Willow’s parents had to make.

I’m still new to post-apocalyptic novels, but this book smacked my reader curiosity spot on. “Project E...more

I was given a copy of this book by the authors in return for an honest review.

WOW!! This book is fantastic!

Willow Mosby is a fantastic character. She is very smart and, although she is only fifteen, she has a maturity about her that comes from growing up in a post apocalyptic world.

The other characters add depth to an exciting read! I love Connor, Claire and Alec. They each bring a uniqueness to the story.

This is a fantastic story. I could almost call it Dystopian in style, as it...more

Have you ever read a book that at the end you go "Damn that was awesome"? Well this is one of those books. It is like Hunger Games meets Resident evil, just minus all the killing. :) This is only the second book like this that I have read. I haven't read too many books that are in the Dystopian/Apocalyptic genre. When I read the plot I thought that this will be interesting. Once I dived into the book, What I noticed about the writing was that you can't tell that two people wrote this book. I ha...more

I have read a number of post apocalyptic books, and I always find them quite disturbing when I think about the fact that it could actually happen; though hopefully not in my life time! The major incident that brought about the need for project ELE, was not a war or an unknown super plague, but a manmade virus that was the result of a ‘cure all’ that scientists had produced. It really isn’t so far fetched either with human beings intolerance of illnesses these days, even the common cold is seen a...more

I know the average review is 1 to 5 stars but I have to say I give this book 10 stars!! I loved it! I'm usually not one to read Apocalyptic style books, but I found this one to be surprisingly good and such an amazing read!!! :)))) I cant say enough how much I loved it! So this story is about survial and love and heartbreak and amazing friendships! Ths story is told from the view point of Willow, a 15 year old girl who has spent most of her life being homeschooled because of a virus thats killi...more

I received this book from the author for an honest review. The world as we know it is ending. A new disease runs rampant that started as a cure for everything from a common cold to cancer. It turns into a deadly disease that has scientist and the governments making the decision to take some of the healthy people underground and other safe place to live for 3 years while they heat the earth up in hopes up killing the disease. Willow and her father are among those chosen to go. She goes to classes...more

This book was given to me by the authors for review.

This story follows Willow, the main character, and her friends, Alec, Claire, and Connor, in an "end of days" era. Now, don't go running for the hills yet. I know a lot of people don't really enjoy reading books in that genre, but trust me, you NEED to read this series! When you hear apocalypse or end of days your brain automatically goes to zombies, or weird vampire hybrid zombies. This is not the case with this series. Yes, there is a virus,...more

This book was sent to me by the authors for an honest review.

Being a fan of the Night Marchers Series I was excited to see what these authors would come up with next.

This book didn’t do it for me the way NMS did. It reminded me too much of Resident Evil mixed with Deep Impact (not for a collision, but ELE and the caves.) The only unique thing was that this time around, infection had spread around the earth but NOT from what started out as a deadly virus, this time, it was actually from somethi...more

This book was given to me by the author for review.

Whilst not normally a fan of dystopian style novels, having read the Night Marchers series by the same authors, I was excited to see what they had come up with this time, and I wan't disappointed.

Set in the future when disease and global warming have left no option but for the chosen "healthy" ones to enter shelters set up by Project ELE. The story floows a teenage Willow and her amazing journey through an existance we all hope would never happe...more

I found this book as a freebie on Amazon, but it is not something I think I might have picked up otherwise. I must admit that I was hooked right away and I ended up buying the next book, and as they came out the two following.
I'm not good at reviews, but I can tell you what I like and what I don't.
Keeping in mind that this book is for Young Adults, I like that it was a simple read. There was nothing that confused me such as a story line that bounced around like a ping pong ball or so many chara...more

5 Stars +

I so totally enjoyed this most riveting and likable dystopian novel that I want to give it 16 or 18 stars. This is in the “champion class” of Dystopian sub-genre, and here’s why:
Like every “good” dystopian, there’s plausibility (yes, Virginia, our reality could experience something exactly like this or very similar); it’s...more

I received this book in exchange for a honest review ~WaAr~

I can honestly say that this is one of the best books I have read in years!! It is action packed, with romance, sadness, and adventure. It is a great dystopian book! You will love this! I am floored, I just couldn't put this book down for the life of me, then it leaves you on a cliff hanger. This is one of the books that will have your mind reeling trying to go over the information again. Their is twists that I didn't see coming.

Not only were the grammatical errors difficult to ignore, but the entire story was just lacking in some maturity. I honestly felt like I was reading something someone typed up on their notes on Facebook. While the premise of the story was a bit interesting, the execution left much to be desired.

I downloaded this book for free from Amazon, and while I won't recommend it, it won't cost you anything for your e-reader if you happen to be curious. I do not recommend buying the hard copy at all, and f...more

I normally read paranormal books, but I was given the chance to read this in exchange for an honest review and since books are my drug (Hi my name is Shona and I AM a book addict)I jumped at the chance. I knew nothing of the plot, but I have heard the phrase ELE(Extinction Level Event)before so had a brief idea of what I might expect. From the first chapter I knew this was a book I could enjoy, by the end of the book I am on the verge of stalking the writers to find out where/when I can get the...more
