Redesign the Web was an overview about what kind of challenges redesining a website brings to you as a developer / designer and some solutions how to tackle them.
But that is pretty much it. While reading, I had a feeling that I've already read this book because there seemed to be so much of "old news" wrapped in shiny covers.
I wouldn't recommend the book but Smashing Magazine's great blog instead!

While I'm not quite finished this book yet, it's safe to say this perhaps the most interesting technical book I have read. Every chapter in this collection has inspired me! I try to take a break after each chapter to let everything I've read settle in, and really think about how the concepts being presented have the ability change what I do on a daily basis, as well as affect the overall vision of the sites I work on. The Smashing Books are worth every penny.
Quizá el mejor de los Smashing Books, al menos, el que más me gusta. Contiene muchos ejemplos, flujos de trabajo y análisis prácticos respaldados por la experiencia y/o la estadística. Hace un especial énfasis en la creación de diseño que perdure y cumpla con los objetivos del usuario, por encima de un "candy eye". Lectura recomendada tanto para diseñadores y como para desarrolladores web.
