I rated this as 2 stars which equals "it was ok" because it was just that, ok. I know this is supposed to take place after Irresistible nemesis, but this had a Sopranosesque ending. Is there a followup to this?
I thought this might be a #1.5 novella type of story with a beginning and a closed ending. I don't know if I'd read a full story on Bobby and Savannah, because I generally dislike stories with chest poking, overzealous reporters who are willing to get a story by any means necessary. Howeve...more

This quick read was just “meh” because there was no stand-out entertainment at all. The ending had me puzzled. The importance of the “little bombshell” memory is lost on me because I find that I just don’t care.
I gave this story 2 Stars, because I did finish reading it, but I just don’t know why.

I would have liked this more if the ending had been different. It wasn't bad, just needed a little more story to it.

A hot little short story. Obviously is mostly meant to serve as a teaser for the series, as there is just enough info about the world and background to make you curious without really telling you a lot about them. Savannah and Bobby make a hot couple though, even if only for the night (so far). Would have liked to have seen a bit more of the bedroom action between them, but what there was was pretty hot. Recommended for vampire lovers, or anyone who likes a steamy little short story.
