I am an Aiden's girl, so this guy above pretty much explains how I am feeling right now. Besides my heart aching, it was another kick ass book from Stephanie! I don't know how Gwen does it, with all those hot guys around. I would be puddle on the floor.
Gwen is torn between her love for Aiden, the vampire with an addiction to brew and her attraction to Dorian "the angel of death" so talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Though I am drawn more towards Dorian as he has all the usual bad boy traits yet he saves her life repeatedly. Aiden on the other hand does love her but he constantly seems to be putting her life in jeopardy and the VC Council are not her greatest fans these days. Trying to sort out her love life is confusing e ...more
If you are reading this review, then you've already read the first two books. This is by far my favorite. I won't bog you down with details, but imagine hot guys, lots of sexual tension, and plenty of excitement. I'm a Dorian fan, and this book did not disappoint. I love the back and forth between Gwen and Dorian. He's such an interesting and mysterious character, not to mention sexy. Coveted gives us a little more insight into his world, which just adds to his intrigue. (Side note: I still wish ...more

OMG I love this series. Of the three books out, this is the best so far. More background about
Dorian (Angel of Death) I want to be on his team. Gwen has rogues, vampires, witches, and demons after her. Girl can't get a break. Not a lot of Aiden in this book, which was fine with me. Gwen has enough to handle with Death on her side. A couple old adversaries show up in this book, and a couple new
characters. Gwen finds herself in New Orleans with Dorian (Where he lives)A lot of sexual tension.

I received a free copy of this novel In exchange for my honest review.

Coveted is book three of the Gwen Sparks series. It continues where the previous book, Deceived leaves off. The bond with Ian Despereaux was broken when Gwen staked him in the heart. Her relationship with Aiden has been broken beyond repair when she learns of his addiction to Brew and his subsequent murders of her fellow witches. As she distances herself from Aiden and focuses on her spirit walker training, she finds herself b

I swear my favorite authors have been on fire. Stephanie did it again, this is the best book to date in the Gwen Sparks series. The ending was gloriously not what I expected and Dorian I want to eat with a spoon. I can not wait to read Hexed. If I could give this book 10 stars I would.
Coveted really turned out to be a great book. I was a little disappointed in the vampire, I thought that he would at least fight for Gwen. I am glad the best man won. Now the ending left me waiting for the next chapter for Gwen and the Angel of death.

I can't stop laughing at the last scene in the book and the trouble Gwen gets herself into! I was said to see Aiden leave but lord help me I am in love with Dorian! Another amazing book by Stephanie Nelson and I can't wait for Hexed!
This book was amazing! Coveted is Book 3 in the Gwen Sparks series and the best so far in my opinion. This author writes a fantastic love scene and I love the way she added a bit of humor into this book. Great read, I highly recommend.

Possibly my favorite of the series so far, perhaps certain Death have something to do with it, I can't help it I just dislike Aiden so seems like everything goes wrong when he is in the picture...

I thought I was an Adrian girl, but I've found myself loving Dorian. I can't wait to see what happens in Hexed after reading the epilogue!
So I'm glad it ended the way it did but I am hoping the next book will have a major shocker!

Loved Gwen and Dorian!!
"Coveted, " the third book in the Gwen Sparks series felt as though the story was just stalling. Gwen confronts Adrien's betrayal and blood addiction all while wrestling with her growing feelings for death, Dorian.

Before she can truly come to grips with her emotions, she is being hunted by demons from the veil and the vampire council. She and Dorian travel to New Orleans in search tor a knife that will assist in defeating her enemies. This is where the story begins to break down. Scene after sce
Gwen still loves Aiden, but can't let herself be with him. He's made too many mistakes to forgive. Dorian is still hanging around, helping her learn how to be spirit walker and Gwen isn't sure how she feels about him. She also has new problems. Someone wants her dead and has been sending rogues after her - they are members of the Veil, highly trained assassins. Luckily Dorian is there to help keep her safe. (But Gwen, stupidly, doesn't always take his help. Dumb) They end up in New Orleans, at D ...more

I just love this author so much. Every time I get a hold of one of her books, I end up ignoring my other responsibilities because I just HAVE to keep reading. This book is no exception. It had been a while since I read Craved or Deceived (books 1 and 2), but after a few short chapters, I was right back into the plot like it had been yesterday. At the end of the last book, Gwen, a witch turned Spirit Walker, had killed a vampire that was trying to turn her into a vampire hybrid only to return hom ...more
I'm a big Stephanie Nelson fan, I really am. I love her creative plots, twists and characters. But this book, mostly Gwen, was a lite tough to enjoy.

I love Dorian, and all the hot steam he brings to the book. His character is evolving, growing and is so intriguing. I could read endless pages of his adventures. But Gwen, really?! Where did the strong heroin go? She is put into harms way endless times in this book, yet every time she has to be saved. She doesn't seem to be growing, if anything sh
"Coveted" by Stephanie Nelson is the third book in the Gwen Sparks Series. It's an amazing read with lots of excitement, sexual tension, intrigue and action.
This installment starts with Gwen and Aiden talking about what happend (in Deceived, book 2), why he acted that way. He also tells her that he's not giving up on her, but Gwen doesn't want to have nothing to do with men or relationships right now. But it's easy said than done, since her roommate is the sexy "Death" angel who can't keep his h

My very first review on Goodreads.

I've liked the series pretty much, until Aiden turned out to be a bad guy (not totally bad but nearly). You know, I have a very bad habit, that's when I read a series, I usually fall for the first guy that the heroine laid her eyes on, and for the next guy or the maybe-ultimate guy, I feel nothing. Really, even though he was good, sacrificed a lot, I still can't take that truth (ridiculous, right?). This series had exactly "that" situation.

Aiden, at first, was a
Great addition to this series! A lot of action, twists and turns and hotness. Great dialogue and unpredictability. Things are not always as they appear. Just the right amount of angst, humor and sarcasm. Very much about relationships, which I enjoyed. Trying not to spoil too much, but Aiden has is pretty rough because of some things he has no control over. I was a bit sad for him but Dorian came on strong. I loved it when Gwen speaks of them being Friends with benefits and Dorian replies, "Worst ...more
I hesitated a long time to read this book because I really was afraid that it won't be good. but it was and now I wonder why it took me so long to read it.

what I liked most in this book is that we learn a lot more about Dorian. He is really absolutely awesome! Gwen was a little bit annyoing due to her ever-changing feelings

the story was good although it took a long time till we got to the heart of it but it was never slow. a little disappointing was that the action at the end of it was so short
wow, the ending was really lame. A random witch hexing her just so she doesn't spill the beans about her illegal magic? Then would she do that to everyone who found out too? It's just too convenient for that to happen so that there will be a next book.
The writer is technically pretty good, and I enjoyed the plot development. I was half-way thru the second book when I realized why I felt so wishy-washy about the series; while the story is well written it has no real emotional development. The reader is aware of what is happening, but there is no real passion to draw the reader into the characters themselves. As I say, technical. This takes away a lot of possibilities from this storyline (of the whole series) and I can only shake my head that t ...more
I cannot believe you did that!! I WANTED MONTHS FOR THIS BOOK AND YOU END IT LIKE THAT!!!!!!!! Uuuuuuuggghghhhhhhh this sucks so much that was the worst cliffhanger in the world of cliffhangers and Jennifer l armentrout has a pretty big one I mean seriously!!!! I FREAKING WAITED FOREVER AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT AGAIN!! Everything was fine a happy ending and then.....BAM!! So thank you I now have to wait several months for the next book THANKS A LOT!
What is it that makes authors write in really stupid/unintelligent main characters? This series should be called 'The Chronic Folly of Gwen Sparks'.

When I was at university, I would call the end of lecture time 'stupid question time'. This sums up the ridiculous lack of thought that comes out of people's mouths.

I stand firmly by the equation = 'put brain into gear before engaging mouth'.

WOW!! Did anyone else feel those sparks that Stephanie Nelson sent shooting at me. This story was a roaring fire; captivating, and devastatingly epic!!It's a must read if you have been reading this series. The only thing I didn't like was the strength of her love for her ex but that's to be expected right!? Other than that it's a dynamite ready to blow your world apart.
I was happy Gwen decided to give Dorian a chance. He is much better than Adrien.

The end of Holly and Ian was anticlimactic. After 3 books of anticipation their ending was so simple and mostly done by the Vampire Council, not this amazing power that Gwen have been honed.

The epilogue starts up the plot for the next book which left me very curious.

I have been addicted to this series since it was introduced to me by my mom :-)
I can't wait until 'Hexed' comes out!!!!!!
