I'm a librarian in Williamsburg, Virginia, where I specialize in readers' advisory. I also write and blog, mostly about books. Lately, I've come to think of myself simply as a "bookman." It's a way of life.

I blog in two places, Blogging for a Good Book at Williamsburg Regional Library ( and Book Group Buzz for Booklist Online (
