Roger Giroux was born in 1925 in Meximieux, near Lyon. He published one collection of poetry, L'arbre le temps, winner of the Prix Max Jacob, in 1964. Roger Giroux (1925–1974) was a French poet. Giroux's one book was awarded the Prix Max Jacob award. Translator of W.B. Yeats, Lawrence Durrell, and others.
