This was such a horrific book, I can't even describe how bad it was. The story itself was well-written,, but I have to say I'm not overly fond a romance where the heroine gets physically abused by the villain of the piece in such a graphic fashion. I think that at one point the heroine had a miscarriage due to being beaten to within an inch of her life by the villain whilst she she was pregnant. What the f*ck? Anyway, I finished the book, but I was so pissed off when I finished it, that I nearly...more
A great, fast-paced story with unrequited love, recovering from loss, tragedy, and wonderfully well-rounded characterizations. The only thing missing was heavy love scenes, but really, the tale was so well developed in all other areas that I found this to be a rather mild issue. The entire Wilkins family was engaging, and I'm eager to read the other brothers' stories. Highly recommended! 4.5 stars.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a free book off of kindle. I kept reading during all my free time to figure out what happened next. I really hated how Em did miscarry during a rape scene with Sam. But I think it was the best way to bring both Tyler and Emma together again.. Or rather together fully. I am going to try to find the other books soon!! Thanks for the wonderful read

This was a new author for me. I like her writing. The story was very good and kept me wanting to read more. I look forward to reading another one.

Picture Ruby with her hair on fire! Yup, that's her every morning when she bounds out of bed and heads for her home office. Ruby thanks her lucky stars that she's a full-time writer and a part-time matchstick. Although, there is a hint of a bulldog somewhere in there, too. Once she sticks her teeth into something, there's no turning back until it works. Her husband says she reminds him of that lit...more
