The first installment of the Little Tiger and the Year of the Dragon series is an interesting explication. It does a good job of setting up the next two books. Cute kids book of magic and fantasy. Definitely for kids - perhaps 9 - 13. Read as a lead-in to The Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs - this is a six-book series.

I won a copy of The Dragon King of Beijing through Goodreads. It's a cute book for a boy. I think my nephew would probably enjoy it. I received the next two books in the series also and enjoyed the first book enough to continue with the story.
