This book is a total distortion. It is worthless as history. It is a jealous, racist rant by an outsider with no real knowledge of SDS. He blames the "failure" of SDS on its whiteness. He blames SDS "failure" on not adopting the white liberal guilt-trip of following the leadership of (certain) black intellectuals and violent black nationalists. Great book that really goes in depth explaining the attitude that prevented SDS and other organizations from accomplishing the goals they started. I recommend everybody to read it so we can try to understand some of the attitudes that we have that prevent us from becoming the country we need to be
