Bit choppy ,not a lot of character development, storyline had promise. As the telling of the story went on issues and people were introduced but just inserted not resolved. A prodigal son,a lady scientist, murder and false identities should have made for a good story but not this time.
Cute and quick, and the author did her research very well on science at the turn of the 19th century.
