This is a fascinating, hypnotic, and strange story. At one level, it's about True, the good kid, who goes to school and studies Native American ethnography and writes out the legends of the Navajo for his dissertation. And his cousin Seth, the bad kid, who lands in and out of prison for reasons that seem beyond his control. But he always returns to True, and their love is fierce, and forbidden, and undeniable.
