Can anything separate you from God's love? Does He really love you, no matter what? How does He feel when you snap at anything that moves? When you've failed as a parent? When your thoughts are gutter-level? When your tongue is sharp? Have you drifted too far? Waited too long? Slipped too much? The answer is found in one of life's sweetest words - grace.

I've always loved his cards and have collected his quotes for many years. Definitely very Bible based which sometimes feels over my head but a lot of gems in here that challenged me to take a good look at myself and how I view others. Will make you think twice about taking a bible and hitting others on the head with it. Very humbling at many points.
Okay, now that I'm actually finished with the book, I have to say that I definitely recommend it for those who are looking for a way to get a bet...more

Totally awesome book this takes you through the entire book of romans from beginning to end. It really gives you a deeper understang of the book of romans. After reading this book I was just amazed! I would recommend this to anyone to read and for a bible study too!

Lucado is a great religious author when it comes to adapting Christianity to everyday living. I enjoyed this book and learned several good faith lessons from it. He referenced several of his previous works in it and I should probably read those too.

Heart rendering and encourageable piece. Our position as A human being that all of us overlooked and the shadow of love and mercy that God had given despite our spoiled, stiff necked, unsatisfied and unforgiving creation.

I enjoyed this book so much that I finished it in less than a week. He really put grace into perspective and I learned a great deal from this to use in my everyday life. I can't wait to read more of his writings!

Read it during the summer of my Freshman and Sophomore year of college. Changed my life in a way... I was going through a really hard time, and this helped me better understand who God is and who I am in him.

Given to me as a gift, it is one of my favorite Max Lucado books of all time. The book is centered around what grace is, explained in terms that we can all relate to and not in hard, huffy theological terms.

This book served as a Bible study for me in college. Max Lucado is a pretty easy read, but this challenged my thinking as we walked through the book of Romans. Grab your Bible as you read this book!

i'm no big max lucado fan, but this book was more on the exegetical side so i think that helped. this book brings back memories of the first year of tc, when we went over this together. good times.

I'm just not a big Max Lucado fan. I'm sure he has a lot of great things to say in his many books, but I guess I just don't care for his writing style. Eh. Whatever. :)

OK book on grace. Still some: Jesus did 99%, I do 1% theology. So, that I don't like. But, on the good side some sipile and easy to understand illustrations.

I think this was my first Max Lucado book. I loved it and it got me on a kick to read more, actually almost all of them just after college.
