Keke is one of the most handsome brothas in the hood, definitely smooth when it comes to the ladies. Neighborhood diva Libra is described as every mans dream and every womans nightmare. She and her friends, Reesie and Maya, make no excuses for their ways and hardcore violence. Theres enough drama on their own, but add Keke into the picture, and its definitely hot.

NO NO NO NO NO. Why? This book is pretty ghetto, but that's not even the issue. I wanted to like it or be interested in it, but I wasn't. I wasn't sure what I was looking for- but it wasn't this.

Ghetto Luv has three main characters: Mya, Reesie and Libra. Of the three, Libra (Scales) is the lead. She's perfect, of course. Has a slammin' body, smarts, luv, a great closet. Everyone wants her or wants to be her. She can sing her @ss off. AND we see alot of it because she's cons...more

That Is What It Is

In the Lou we become familiar with Libra, "every woman's nightmare and every man's dream." She has two friend-sisters, Ressie and Mya. Reesie is the only one involved in a long term relationship. It happens to be an abusive relationship with a well known hustler, Caelin Ross. Mya, on the other hand, is into free love. Libra, obviously the main character, is being sought out by two of St. Louis' very own, Lamarr "Ke-Ke" Larkins and Tyron "Nut...more

As I give this book a four star rating I have to wonder if that's the right choice. The reason I ask myself this is because it was an interesting story but I felt it left some things open. The characters were not developed enough to me. It seems like the writer would start to give the readers info about the character but did not finish. I think if it was thought out a little more it would have got five stars from me.
