Another Mark A. Barnhouse book that I read after hearing the author give a presentation. I preferred this one over the Sixteenth Street book in that because this one was better able to reflect the neighborhoods and cultural influences as the area evolved from rural to ethnic enclaves to 21st-century revitalized urban neighborhoods.
