I have to be honest, I started to read this book around chapter 24. Why you ask? It didn't interest me. I didn't judge the book by its cover or its title, I judged it by its description. "No one believes Cooper, no one heard the barks or saw the two dogs...." My how exciting! I knew the plot would take awhile to develop and I really wasn't in the mood to read another book of a kid who's family doesn't believe a word he says. I've read 31 Goosebumps books already I can kinda figure out More...

The Goosebumps series by R.L. Stine, including this book, is a great series to have for grades 3-5. This particular story tells the story of a boy named Cooper, who after moving into a new house, hears barking in the house. He realizes it's two dogs in his back yard, and the crazy, ghostly dogs drag him and his friend out to the dog house, and they wake up realizing they've switched places with the dogs! All of R.L. Stine's books are very suspenseful, and keep you wondering what's going to happe More...

Cooper was afraid of his own shadow, but that all changed after he saw the dogs. The dogs were pretty creepy. If you look at the cover really closely, you can see how creepy they really are. It gives me the shivers. It's weird because they turn into ghost dogs and then they bring their fake Cooper and their fake Margaret back to the magic changing room. Two squirrels wandered off in there, and took over the humans bodies and the humans turned into the squirrels. Goosebump books do not have More...

This is a fairly atmospheric book, until it completely derails around page ninety. Honestly, it's like Stine was writing a slow-building ghost story, realized he only had thirty pages to wrap it up, and came up with the "Changing Room." What.

Also, at one point in the story, the main character looks into a stream and sees that his reflection looks like a dog face. So is he a dog? Nope. This was never explained.

SO THIS book is about this kid named Cooper and he like sees these ghost dogs in his new house. He meets this girl named Fergie and they spend the night at Cooper's house. Well they hear barking so they go outside and the dogs drag them to the shed. They switch places with the kids and now the kids are the dogs! read the book to find out how they got out of the sitch!

My grandma has this book, Return of the Mummy, The Curse Of The Mummy's Tomb, & More Tales to Give You Goosebumps: Ten Spooky Stories. They were my uncles.
When I was around 10, every time I'd go to my grandma's house, I'd pick up one of them & read it all. sometimes I'd read two. Depends on how long I stayed. I loved them. More...

I was a avid R.L. Stine reader as a kid, just like all the other kids i went to school with, we were also big fans of the television series, watching it every friday evening after school. I enjoyed them because they were relatively entertaining. A great part of my child hood.

I love this book because it has scary moments and you will be wondering what will happen next. I learned that to never trust talking animals.

Goosebumps was so popular when I was a kid, we would get in fights in the library over who got to check the new one out next. No joke.

Goosebumps. This is the series that kept me reading through my childhood. More than any other series, Goosebumps kept me interested in reading, and R.L. Stein is a wonderful children's writer. I applaud his efforts, and can't express enough my gratitude for the series.
