Love this cover!! Wow.. there were so many twists and turns and lies in this story that I couldn't wait to read what happened next. I wasn't expecting that. I was fidgety through out most of the book waiting for the point when everything would be revealed. lol
I genuinely felt bad for Rachel because not only was she deceived by the man she loved, but by her friends also. I honestly don't know how she forgave them~I'm not sure I would have been able to. Oh...Ethan...he told so many lies that I do...more

I like stories set at Christmas and felt I could relate to this one since most of it took place in New York where I grew up. There was romance, love, family, lots of deception and discourse by all, a child that got dragged into every adult situation, and storylines set in England and Ireland as well as New York . The description of all the locations made me feel I was there since I could visualize the...more

A book beautifully written by Melissa Hill.
The book is about two men who bought a gift for their girl at Tiffany’s Christmas Eve.
Gary Knowles, a self-conceited, bike-enthusiast whose business is going down the drain. While in New York, he got preoccupied with shopping for himself that he forgot to get a gift for his girl, Rachel Conti. He thought of buying her something that would level the generosity of Rachel, for she solely payed their holiday trip for Christmas. Tiffany’s was the first shop...more

I picked it up on a Christmas' book sale and I have to say that after reading such a heavy book, Something from Tiffany's does have its own magic to make me feel light again! With the current state which I am in right now; my chaotic life (which I am sure what most of us are having too), this book is a good diversion from reality. I think I can imagine, how every girl in the world would swoon over a diamond ring or any jewelleries from Tiffany's. Having said so, I would admit that the sight of a...more
I liked it as a casual read, but because of the many positive reviews I read on the web, I had slightly higher expectations, so now I'm a little disappointed. Overall the concept is interesting and the book is well-written, but I found that in the middle the action was too slow for my taste. If you expect a love story, however, you will be disappointed. The book is clearly written with the sole thought for the element of surprise at the end (the author definitely knows how to spin the story), so...more

Oh my. This book. I just picked it up at a secondhand bookstore as a light English read (I'm not a native), some cute little chick book. I didn't really expect too much. Two guys taking each others's jewelry shoppings by accident? Not a really original concept, I said. I thought it would be a predictable read. And I felt that way throughout most of the novel, even with the occasional twists, which should have been an indicator for me. At the end, it turned out to have a completely different endi...more

“So what do you think?” he asked Daisy, but it was pretty obvious that she was captured by the beautiful ring, although that wasn’t really the question Ethan was asking. But when she turned to look at him, her delighted expression told him everything he needed to know.

It took me longer than usual to read this book. I'm not saying I didn't like it; I think the story is really good, as well as the way it's written. The story line is interesting, and the characters are, in my opinion, well developed, and that was why I kept reading it. The book is very girly and a little bit predictable in some points.
I think that the plot is a little bit loose. Too many pages for a story that, I think, could be written in less. Maybe that's just me, but sometimes I was looking...more

Reading this book felt like watching a Hollywood rom-com - cosy, comfy and feel-good. It was quite dialogue-heavy and scant on descriptions and sometimes a teeny bit schmaltzy, but towards the end, the twists kept coming, which had me racing to the get to the finish and find out what happens. The hero, single dad Ethan Greene, is quite the Michael Buble-style charmer and his daughter, Daisy, is a real delight.

ok, firstly it makes me uncomfortable to give a book only one star,i almost always enjoy a book on some level - but I didnt with this one. It was just so ridiculous!I mean what man after finding out that his tiffany 20000 dollars ring was missing and currently on the wrong womans finger would then be too scared to get it back off her because he was scared of upsetting her?! Absolutely lovely book! Way to end my 2013 reading challenge. After Cecilia Ahern, I think I'm loving European authors more and more because of Melissa Hill.
Something from Tiffany's is a runaway winner when it comes to coming up with big twists. Like all Melissa Hill's books, this is a good read. The storyline is interesting (if a little far-fetched), the setting is great (New York at Christmas time)and the characters reasonably well-developed. It moved along at a good pace and with the different points of view between various characters you were kept intrigued as to what was going to happen next. My only complaint would be that it didn't have the "out of the left field" twist that I have enjoyed in Melissa's earlier books. I was waitin...more
I happen to be a fan of Breakfast at Tiffany's and since then I kinda relate Tiffany to words "feel good" , "romantic" and "magic":). I guess the blue box really have its magic, for it was the cover the caught my attention and led me to purchase this book. If you're a type of person who enjoys chick flick and rom com movies, there's a big chance that you'll fancy this book. I don't want to spill anything about the plot or anything about the story. An accident takes place, and the two purchases are mixed up. Ethan from London ends up with a charm bracelet instead of an engagement ring, while Gary from Ireland ends up with an engagement ring. Gary now has a fiance that is extremely happy with her ring, and Ethan's girlfriend is now left with a simple charm bracelet. Ethan goes to s...more

I have to be honest, the reason this book caught my eye was because of the title and because I do love that infamous "Little Blue Box". However, coming off of a book I read before this that I really enjoyed it did take awhile for me to get into this book and the characters. However once I did let's just say the last 28 chapters i read in one sitting and finished the book. I have to say that I LOVED the unexpected twists that this book had and I even got a little chocked up.
