Cramer turns conventional definitions of war upside down, and then spins them in every direction imaginable. A thought-provoking but difficult read - if I pick this book up again next year, chances are I'll get just as much, if not more out of it. War does not necessarily mean an end to development, nor does peace necessarily promote it. Thanks to Richard Cornwel for recommending the book.
