Set in the mid-1950s, an idyllic time, in a peaceful western Pennsylvania town--the very place you would never expect such horrific things to happen. This only adds to the eerie atmosphere of the book. The writer is well-familiar with the historical places and events he portrays, which adds so much authenticity. Well-structured and plotted; give it a try!
