This book. Is written. In lots of short sentences. Which is extremely. Annoying.

Let's get one thing straight first...

This is a story about a dragon shifting alien who abducts a girl named Abby. Obviously I'm going to be biased. It is three of my favorite things in one sentence.

That being said, this is a solid example of the alien-smut genre. It won't leave you scarred, but it wasn't mind-blowingly original either. It was a good read anyways.

I really enjoyed the addition of a symbiant that lived separate from the alien. I would however like to know what happens when the sy

I found it very easy to immerse myself completely in this story. The mix of action and romance, cultural divides and acceptance, all combined into an unforgettable story that launches readers out of this stratosphere. The consistent forward pace neither rushed nor lagged, allowing me to enjoy the story completely. The natural flow to the dialogue helped bring the characters to life.

Smith has created some wildly original species and races for this novel (and the series as a whole). I love the ad

I'm a little torn about this book. On the one hand, I had issues with the editing. On the other hand, it was intriguing enough that I didn't want to stop reading it.

Abby is a glass-blowing artist. The first chapter is all about her life and I found it to be on the slow side. But I knew a sexy alien was going to land somewhere near her house, so I kept reading. Once Zoran crashed on Abby's property with his stange golden ship, I was hooked.

Abby is sweet, compassionate and loving. Zoran is a dick.

This one required a much needed exercise in suspending my reality. After reading a ton of contemporary fiction, I decided to cleanse my reading palette and try something different that was out of the ordinary and not my normal pick. Abducting Abby kept catching my eye, and I decided to give it a go.

I actually liked this SciFi fiction mixed with erotic romance. The lore reminded me a bid of Lover Eternal from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, where Zoran Reykill is King of Valdier and the Drag

New to me author.
In no way, shape, or form, do I mean that this author's book is like Michelle Pillow's series "Dragon Lords" BUT if you liked that series you'll like this one too.

Dragon warriors with a human base life form have descended on Earth. Dragons mate for life so when one of them finds an earther that is his mate he abducts her and takes her to his planet. There's a round of roadblocks that they encounter and the usual adjustment that needs to occur when a human finds out her life mat

Once again I am in love with a sci-fi series. I do not generally feel this genre, but Ms Smith has a way of drawing you in with engaging characters and compelling story telling. The women are sassy and fun, most of the time and the men are totally Alpha!!

I really like Abby, well when she is being herself, she has a little depression to get past, that was not so fun. It is understandable and handled well. It shows a complexity to the character. She has a tough back story and meets Zoran at a time

I wanted to read something with Dragon Shifters and I loved this book. 3 golden stars.
Zoran King of the Valdier was captured by the Cruzian half prince and was tortured. He escapes and lands on a primitive planet. Earth. He calls to his brothers to help him. All in all he has four brothers.
Abby Tanner lives a secluded life on her mountain in California. She is happy with her life until on fateful morning, Bo the dog she is sitting for finds a golden spaceship in a meadow.
Abby rescues Zoran, his
Lots of sex but not much else - certainly no character or story depth

The storyline was creative, unique and did have lots of potential but the follow through flat out sucked. It was insta everything. Insta-love, insta-friends, insta- perfect life etc. I never got the sense that any of these characters had a thing in common. Or even a real conversation for that matter. There were just too many missing pieces and everything came entirely too easily. While the sex was pretty good, that was basical

Who knew finding and nursing a man back to health would change her world...literally.

Abby is a single woman along on a mountain making her glass creations when a storm blows in and leaves destiny in her meadow.

Zornan just escaped his confinement and torture and finds himself on a distant world. If that wasn't enough excitement for him he discovers Abby is his true mate, the rare female that all three parts of him accept. The man, the symbiot, and the dragon. When all three agree on the mate on
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Uber-sexy, otherworld warriors and dragon-shifters all rolled into one! Who could ask for more? Love the innocent and gentle heroine who hides a strength that captures and subdues the King of the Dragons. Watch out! Sex in this story is not for the faint of heart. It's real and even a little ruff at times. I am just totally taken with the weaving of a dragon fantasy . . . even the dragons are hot in this tale! Can't wait until I can read book #2. :-D Don't expect ...more

I've seen this authors books and thought I ought to give her a go and I'm in a quandary how to review this book really. It's a sci fi romance and it's full length (which I prefer) with lots of sexy bits so should be right up my street. And yet I'm hesitating!
Basically we have Abby who lives alone and is a very talented artist. Zoran, an alien crash lands near her home and she rescues him. He's off the charts attracted to her and although Abby is quite innocent her libido is defiantly waking up.

A 5 star rading for this book. Please note: 18+ book. I did read the Ebook version.

My Opinion:
There are hot scenes in this book. Steamy stuff.
The world of Zaron is beautiful discribt in this book. You do see the difference between the two worlds and what a shapeshifter is and its karakter. Also how the overcom there differences. It was the first book in this genre so I did not know wat to expect.

Bood discription:
Abby is living on the mountain. She is an artist who makes beautiful glass objects.

I had never heard of S.E. Smith but now I am a fan after reading this book. When it started out I wasn't too thrilled but as it progressed I became enthralled. Can you believe it, alien dragon shifters?!! This book has just the right mix, Dragons, hot sex, sentient space ships, action and an alien world. Great dialog, characters and a fantastic story line. I am so looking forward to the further adventures of the Reykil brothers.

Shelves: z2014-bir to rate this one. I really liked the story, although the editing (lack of) was terrible. I guess commas are expensive, can't add too many of them. And the girl was ridiculously stupid at times. And the villain on Earth was SO melodramatic. But I liked it, nevertheless! And I will be reading more of the series. So I guess 3.5 stars will do.
3 stars: 4 stars for the first half of the book. I liked the idea of the alien landing on earth and needing help. 2 stars for the last half of the book and the much-needed editing that didn't happen. Typos and grammar errors usually don't bother me, but there were too many to keep ignoring it. Overall, it was still a fun sci fi romance.

I couldn't get past the first chapter in this book , sorry but the heroine buying clothes for someone she knows nothing about and who is around 7 foot tall!!She didn't bat an eyelid over the spacecraft! Not credible at all for me.

the plot is all over the place...and too far outside the realm of possibility. also, can't stand the wimpy, goody two shoes heroine.
3.5-4 stars

This was a pretty good story and start to the series. I liked Abby and Zoran and their story was very enjoyable. This is the first story I've read by this author so far but I liked it well enough that I plan to continue the series.

Abby is an artist that makes beautiful pieces of glass blown art. She lives in the mountains outside of the small town she grew up in most of her life. Abby was raised by her grandparents but they died a while back and she's been alone since. Abby has never

I didn't like it, plain and simple. I sound stupid saying it wasn't realistic as its a paranormal/scifi, but in terms of a humans interactions, it wasn't.

Lots and lots and lots happened, to the point it was too much, and then it ended with a sex scene with no conclusion to their troubles. I was interested in both Cara and Carmen's personalities, but this took me a long time to read and I struggled greatly so I'm unsure if I'll continue at all.

The entire plot felt very rushed, as though the author just wanted to rush to the "good bits." As a consequence, the characters felt stilted. Add that there was some great character building that just got carelessly thrust to the side by universe hopping, and it was a bit of a hot mess. Besides that, I kept thinking it was ending when it wasn't. Really not my thing.

This was so bad that I couldn't finish it. The writing was atrocious--like the author was in high school. The beginning was just blocks of exposition. The point of view seemed to bounce between Abby's own and third person. The completely inane thing was how Abby reacted when she found the ship. No fear, no questions. She goes up and PETS it and croons to it because it seems to act afraid. What? She has no fear when meeting the alien. When the ship covered her in gold bracelets why isn't she frea ...more

I think the author has a great idea going here, but there are a lot of kinks that need to be worked out. Ultimately if it wasn't for the stuff i had to over look, typos and choppy story flow, I would have given this five stars. I do however look forward to the rest of the books in the series :)
not the best of hers. there's dubcon and more than one attempted rape, just a warning.

This book certainly had be waffling on my feelings as to whether I enjoyed it and even whether or not I should finish it. In the end I'm glad I read it through but there were times when a DNF felt very close.

The first chunk of the book is spent on Earth with Abby and Zoran alone, and also unable to communicate with each other. Zoran can understand everything Abby says because of a translator, but as an Earthling ungraced with such a thing Abby can't understnad anything he says. This makes it re

So this is Pornography.

It's the usual rape scene where the female is over powered by the strong male. She says no, but really means yes. It,'s OK for him to rape her because he loves her. It's not even romantic. Then he kidnaps her & other women from earth so that his brothers can have rape parties too. That's what all the other books in the series are about.

I gave it a 2 because its well written pornography for the most part. There was a scene where she used the word Pussey twice right afte
