At first, I was a little nervous that this book would be tough to read - because it's the 2nd book in a series (and I haven't read book 1). But the prologue seems to jump this off with quite a bit of back story and the first encounter with the brothers is full of information that I think I may be caught up.

Although this is book 2, this book stands very well on it's own. It was hard to read at first, The first 100 pages or so are a lot of stilted odd conversations and a lot story detail to tell y

I usually speed read, or read two other books at the same time, but um, I had to really focus on this one as I gladly put the other books down while I finished this one. As with the first book in the series, you have to pay attention, or you'll miss something important for later on.

This book has a strong mystery element to it, which I loved. I have a copy of the book with the old cover, but when I saw the new cover on GR, it did the story complete justice. I loved the tangled relationship betwee
This book was crazy stupid good. OMG, the ending was way unexpected. I think I’m in total love with Vincent, though Benoit is a close second. If you haven’t read this book yet, then you don’t have a brain…no, no, no. Read this book!!! If you don’t like it, then you don’t have a brain. Get a brain, read this book and you’ll love it.

I really liked the action in this book. Right out of the box, in chapter one, there's a great fight scene. However, my favorite chapter is when Vincent and two other immortals rumble in an old cemetery on the Lakota reservation in the middle of the night.

This book was a total page turner for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes action and adventure, because there's cool fights along the way. The story has some good layers to it. I thought the story was going one way, and boom, in th

I'm not exactly sure how to do a review exactly, but i'll try my best. As soon as I started the Prologue I was hooked, and the rest of the book doesn't disappoint. The descriptions and the characters seemed to create a whole world and is truly amazing. I loved the whole story and I am going to recommend it to all my friends. :D

Shadow Harvest is Joel.T.McGrath's Empire Strikes Back to his "Star Wars" Shrouded Secrets. I love it when authors & their books just get better in a series, book to book, & that is true here.

The book starts with a "bang" with the subway scene which is genuinely movie worthy. Vincent is a great character not "black" or "white" but true emotional "gray". I absolutely love his story with Noemi.

The world just gets so much bigger in this 2nd book of the Shrouded Secret Chronicles, & we
