I only recently discovered Charlotte Stein when someone recommended I read Sheltered, which I really enjoyed. When I started to look at her backlist, I realized most of what she has published is erotic, and I’ve found a few that I really liked (Control, for example.) I’m determined to keep current with her new releases because I think she has a great voice. Make Me didn’t quite do it for me as a few of her others have though.

This (short) novel was a terrible piece of drivel. I really like menage/poly stories & had high hopes for Make Me. Sadly, i was very disappointed mostly bc i felt the writing was stunted, scenes were strung together awkwardly, and the characters had SO MUCH they could have said/explained but didn't. And, any erotica that uses the phrase "my smoothly waxed mons" is just...I don't even know.

This was just fabulous ... and I've avoided menage stories until now but I guess I trust Charlotte Stein enough by now to try it. And sure enough, the characterisation was fascinating. Especially when I realised several hours later how wonderfully subtle and gradual our heroine's empowerment was. What I most enjoyed about Make Me is the explicit surfacing of a theme that crops up more subtly again and again in Stein’s work — the erotic power of shame. This story could have been sexy. But it is ruined by being written in first person, present tense. It might have seemed like a good idea, a way to see the world intimately through one of the main characters. But it's nothing but annoying. And the reason for it being annoying, is that the heroine is annoying. She so bloody negative, if the were a real person, I'd have yelled at her for being so bloody stupid!

I think I just read the hottest thing to creep onto my Nook in a good while. And believe me, I've read some yummy little tales lately. Make Me absolutely knocked my socks off. *I could totally segue that last statement into a lewd comment but I'll keep my inner 16 year old at bay ;)*

Holy Jebus. This has to be one of the dirtiest things I've ever read. That being said, it's also one of the hottest. Gah. Brandon tended to annoy me in the beginning, but as time revealed more about him, he didn't bug me anymore. But then Tyler started to. At times I wanted him to take a step back and relax. And then Maisie stepped in and put him in his place, which THANK GOD. He totally needed a dick in his ass. Just saying.

O.O This has to be the absolute dirtiest thing I have ever read, and that's saying something! I read it last night and I'm still O.O, no kidding.
That said, it was not just dirty, it was definitely hot and for me that's a totally different thing. I'm pretty amazed that the author was able to do that. Before this, the only other book I had ever read by Charlotte Stein was Sheltered, and despite other reviews, I was not prepared for this.

Wow... I really, really like Charlotte Stein's writing, my fave of all time is her fem-dom masterpiece "Control", but this one is just a no-go for me.
I can't finish it, this is why:
It came off to me as creeeeepy and gross. I don't like the 2 friends (are they gay or not, and who cares?) There's something so lovely about the way Charlotte writes her scenes - something that makes the words hot while not becoming campy or over-the-top. Whew! Damn, that was filthy, LOL! I'm not a big menage fan in ER, as I never really believe the HEA, no matter the author. In this, I almost wished it was only about the two boys, but that's just my anti-third-wheel bias. I totally adore Charlotte Stein's voice and would read anything she wrote.
I would say 3.5 or 3.75 but just not quite a 4 star for me only because I wanted more of the boys. I wanted more of what they really felt for her LOVED the ending.

One of the hottest books that I've ever read. If you're looking for a well-written M/M/F book, look no further - this one is money. I finished it a couple of months ago and still think about it from time to time.
This is just straight up porn. But really, really well written porn! And a nice little story thrown in between the porn. A good, quick read. That you should only pick up in a dark, quiet room. With a door that locks.
Dirty, kinky, filthy goodness is what you will find in this latest novella of Charlotte Stein's. The heroine struggles with facing an uninhibited lust and sexuality she has toward her two best male friends. The unfiltered, erotic interaction between the characters will have you squirming in your seat; in a naughty way. I'm off to stick my head in the freezer now.

This was probably the right book at the right moment for me. It was very fun, dirty and sexy. I feel like this is the erotica book I have most enjoyed reading in a very long time!
I love MFM stories and while this one was good it wasn't great mainly because it ended so abruptly - I just felt like I needed a little more for the resolution.
With a threesome like this at the start anything is possible... juicy writing and instant sensation as three friends lose it together. Gorgeous.

3 1/2 stars. I usually prefer erotica with a more romantic framing than this has but I have to say, it's just gloriously filthy. I'm rating it down some because the plot is abrupt and confusing; it felt like important parts were left out. Reviewers often complain about Stein's stream of consciousness narrations, but this is the first time I've ever found one of her books hard to follow. Everything's that left is smokin' hot, though.
