Another DeFino masterpiece. I'm simply stunned each time I read her work because it somehow gets better. Taking another angle and time on her tale begun in Finder, this adventure is even more daring, more passionate, and without a doubt one of the best books I've read in years. Bravo!

Excellent follow-up to Finder but can be read independently. DeFino continues to expand her intriguing and well-built world, and the characters in this book—members of the younger generation of the first book—have adventures in wild and dangerous places. The mythology of the world is expanded; by the end of A Time Never Lived, that mythology is turned upside down, and I am eager to see where the author takes the characters in the next book.
