This book asks whether or not the Christian Church has drifted away from Jesus Christ and his teachings. The relevance of "story" in the Bible is emphasized. The author calls into question the importance the church has placed on the writings of Paul. The author's premise is that closer attention should be paid to the gospels and the example of Christ. My interest was piqued after hearing the author give a talk on the subject.
