This book is a quick and easy read with an interesting concept. Unfortunately. the plot and world building seemed to have a lot of holes that diminished my enjoyment of the book. I never understood where the men arrived from or how they knew where the compound was or that the women were there (since it was first indicated that the compound was not state built and the women had just found it and moved in). We never learn what the war was about, only that millions of men died. I am presuming that ...more
