Wow, excuse me while I fan myself. The Last Cowboy has got to be one of the hottest things I've ever read. Let's just say this one classifies itself as an erotic romance with an emphasis on erotic.

After a terrible virus wiped out most of the earths' population Benjamin has spent the last three years by himself. The long, monotonous days of running a farm have started to take their toll and he's just plain lonely :(

Cody's on the run from one of the gangs that plague the big cities. When he comes
I’ve read the other reviews on this story and it just didn’t match with what I thought so I went back and read the story four more times and found that my opinion still hasn’t changed and I refuse to change it as I feel that I have some valid reasons for why this story is only a three star in my honest opinion that is. Without an author I don’t have a job but I also feel that I’m doing a disservice to the author and the fans when I don’t review truthfully. So without further ado here we go.

this is one star only because I can't rate it any lower and still express an opinion.
I have no idea what edition of the book the other reviewers here have read. My version is so poorly edited that it's sometimes hard to understand what the author is trying to say. Although thinking about some of what he says, this is probably a good thing. Example: "His cock couldn't get any harder walking behind the tall young man. They were nearly the same height at six feet." "Benjamin took his eyes off the

Benjamin has been alone for three years, ever since a virus wiped out a lot of the world’s population. Other than the odd straggler he’s had no company and his wrist is mighty sore. But, one day while lying nude next to a pond, someone spies on him and Benjamin has found a new companion. Cody is running and in Benjamin he finds a protector. Although, that isn’t all he wants Benjamin for and when his pa
1.5? Little to no plot. Too much focus on sex. I get it's erotica, but...something more would have been nice. And while I appreciate the dynamics as far as who topped and bottomed weren't the usual (view spoiler), the scenes felt sort of empty to me (and to be honest, not really sexy (view spoiler). Mostly because there was little to no connection between the pair. From Ben's ...more
Reviewed by Stacey Jo: I was intrigued by this one because I’m a fan of all of the zombie apocalypse movies and books and I love the cowboy M/M sub genre so, hey, cowboys and plagues and the end of the world? That sounded right up my alley. Well, this one is quite so hard hitting; at least not in the “apocalypse-end-of-the-world”department. In that regard, I was a bit disappointed, well, quite a bit disappointed. Now if you are wanting hot, erotic sex between a cowboy, Benjamin, and a virgin, Cody, ...more

I really, really enjoyed this story. It wasn’t perfect as it could have used more details about this virus and a little more length but that was made up for by the characters personality. The plot was well done. It was fast paced but still had slow moments for the two hot guys to fall for each other. The romance was scorching hot and if you like some serious heat between sexy men, I think you’re going to love this.

The Last Cowboy was a quick, har

I really liked this one, the world building was pretty decent and the characterisation was pretty darn good to. The sex was cute, hot and yummy - it was a really well written virgin sex in my opinion.

My only comments is that it was to short to really do the premise justice. This had the chance of becoming a 5 star book if the author took the time to develop a more indepth and emotional relationship and 'showed' us the events in the plot (plague, baddies, future) the ending was summed
The premise of this book sounded great. Major plague, apocalyptic type atmosphere, the last cowboy, could be interesting.

It was definitely hot, like porn hot. This would be a western movie I could totally get behind. I wanted to see this as more of a love story though. I was told that Benjamin met the love of his life, his soul mate, etc. I just didn't see it as much as I wanted to.

Definitely fun and sexy and I'll be reading more of this series and getting into the relationship more.
I was expecting the worst of this book coz sometimes ppl give gd reviews of the book but i ended up not liking it. This book prove me wrong.. I never thought that i will totally loved it.... I loved it!!!!
The post-apocalyptic cowboy thing is a little wierd, but it has good reviews.

Short, interesting
At first I felt for the Ben, his loneliness and just how isolated he was. Once he met Cody, I expected them to connect on more than a "you've got a purty mouth" level and that just didn't happen, at least not in my opinion. I lost whatever connection I had with the characters and it got even worse after the main character (view spoiler)

James is rather hard to define. He's obviously into men, but also finds women alluring. To him reading gay fiction is so stimulating he's taken up a pen (keyboard) and started writing. The stories in his head are edgy, hot enough to embarrass him at work and meant to entertain.

James' day job is a means to get the green. He lusts after his straight boss and always longed to paint nude men.
