Okay, so I have never heard of this author before and I have looked to see if they have published anything else, but I couldn’t find anything… which really surprised me, as the quality of writing was brilliant

I felt it best not to rate this book.

I want to start with a positive. This book is a sci-fantasy/paranormal book. The world building in Maithe's Surrender was of quite a high standard. I felt the characters lacked depth and found it hard to relate to them. The sentence structure and syntax were odd in places, making it harder to read these sections. Additionally, it was distracting how the main character was referred to by so many different titles rather than his name - cherub, faux ...more
